MTN appoints new Chief Customer Experience Officer

MTN SA has appointed Ideshini Isabella Naidoo as the new Chief Customer Experience Officer, effective from 01 May 2016.

Naidoo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information systems and total quality management. She has a proven track record in the banking sector.

Naidoo has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematical Statistics and a BSc Honours in Computer Science from the University of Natal. She also has a Masters degree in Strategic Information Technology Management from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

Before she was appointed to this new role at MTN SA, Naidoo served as the Head of Corporate Channels at Barclays Africa and as Chief Information Officer at FNB.

Says Mteto Nyati, MTN SA Chief Executive Officer: “Naidoo’s appointment gives expression to our ongoing quest to improve our customer experience by attracting the right talent and tapping into best practise from other sectors of the economy. She brings into our customer operations a continuous improvement mind-set.”

Naidoo adds: “I am pleased to be part of a dynamic team, I have no doubt that a tough job awaits me but I also feel very blessed and privileged for the opportunity. I am looking forward to adding value and bringing a fresher perspective to the organisation, while gleaning insights from MTNers who have been at the coal face of customer relations.”
